I have my moments........
So did a few bounty hunters in their day.

You had to come back.
I know.

I know.

You really didn't.

Bounty hunters......mods...........whatever.

Glendale Train.......

Ok.......you know this now......

NRPS.......New Riders of the Purple Sage.

You have to know by now that none other than Grateful Dead's Jerry Garcia was slamming the pedals on this one.
Yup. Mr. Garcia himself. Listen again.

If you can, wipe the wonderful vocals.......

Just focus on the pedal steel........

Yeah, that's what he did.

Glendale Dead.

I really don't know who the lead vocalist for NRPS was.

But, the amazing thing is, Garcia was not even the lead soloist.

The vocal was. You have to pay attention to his wanderings in the background.

DO so pay attention.

Oh, F. Hell bent on the rails. Jerry was gone gone gone that day.

Somebody PLEASE say they hear that.......please. You have to get it.

Garcia smokes this one. He cooks F, he is so amazing on this cut.
You don't get it, do you? Block all the vocals.......just litsen to the pedal.

Jerry whacks 'em/
He chatters through the whole song.

Now, if the story of the Glendale train robbery does not grab ya, NRPS also did a song about a buddy of ours......
The hero Panama Red and his horse, Mescalito.

Another fine study of Jerry's slide mastery.
He gets a solo in on this one too.......

Searchin' all the joints in town......LOL.
