	Hello - I am a bit new here, but all has been running well (as far as I know) until the last couple of days I noticed that, only on some SETI jobs, I get the status entry of, "Completed, validation inconclusive"!! Does anyone know what that means? And if so, do any credits apply? Some of these results are on large computations and I hate to think that I am losing all my efforts. Any advice would be helpful. ____________

	See this thread for more information on validation. "Validation inconclusive" means your result didn't match with your wingman's result, so another copy will be sent out as a "tie breaker". If that third copy agrees with your result, then the two of you will get credit. If that third copy agrees with your wingman's result, they will get credit. If all three results are weakly similar, all three will get credit. Credit is only granted for scientifically valid results.

	I, too, have this problem. 40% of my pending are "validation inconclusive." I have 214 "invalids' and only 81 "valid" with 6 "errors." I am heating my office with this computer. Is my equipment not suitable for SETI's needs? I bought a GTX 560 Ti because it was highly ranked by SETI. ____________

	I would gladly trade u a couple of GTS250's for that card. Are u overclocking by chance? Heck I'll even give u $100 to boot for the trade. Side note: I heat multiple offices on different systems with GTX 460's or 470's, during the winter very nice, but during the summer it's a real pain in the rear, it's kinda like ur own personal sauna, even if u do not want one. ____________
