i built self with old computer rabbish i found in second hand shop
a box to cruch
run on win xp
boinc 4.13
seti 4.08
2004-11-28 15:45:01 - 1840 double precision MIPS (Whetstone) per CPU
2004-11-28 15:45:01 -5058 integer MIPS (Dhrystone) per CPU

if you turn your power off. on all your computers. for about 2 years that will make them run faster. please try it,

Long time since I had a Faxe...

Drinking beer and crunching is ok since I'm not the one doing the number crunching! ;-) My computer does and don't require any beer!

On one of my old boxes (P4-1.8GHz)I run Windows XP as well and Boinc 4.13 - Seti 4.08.
2004-11-29 10:12:25 - 912 double precision MIPS (Whetstone) per CPU
2004-11-29 10:12:25 - 2713 integer MIPS (Dhrystone) per CPU

I wonder... how effective would beer cooling be? Add a peltier for added cooling efficiency? If you ever need to flush the system to replace the coolant, you have a beer bong ready and waiting! Of course it would be warm.
