Thank you for that clarification. I don't usually react well to people telling me to do things with my computer without a `why` included. It's a little awkward policy for support situations, but it keeps viruses off. And in this case, it sounds like there's nothing I can do. |

I fully understand about wanting to know 'why', I'm the same way. But know that simply having that information available is not what causes computer viruses. Knowing the 'why' about computer viruses and computer hacking will go a long way to understanding how to protect yourself. |

I did a small bit of testing, and it seems like if I shut down browsers and things, I can get video card ram usage down to ~65mb (according to gpu-z). That's still a good little bit of space being taken, but much better than the 190 or so used during normal computer usage. Thanks for the help. I'll just not run astropulse batches until I have more video card ram. Seems like the easy way out :D |

That's a fair decision. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. |

I don't usually react well to people telling me to do things with my computer without a `why` included. Then just ask `why`? (instead of thinking that "we want to force you buy things") I didn't even imagine that you will not know/guess why I gave advice "You can try to disable Aero" (an advice given many, many times) as that advice appears just after "CUDA also make errors because of low VRAM (256MB)" and several lines that show your GPU have lack of free memory. The entire discussion was about lack of free video memory (supported by evidence (app messages)). And how "disable Aero" (disable visual effect) can be connected with viruses is beyond me...
