	Wow--what a start. My beloved Buffalo Bills took a serious beating. We lost Fred Jackson for an undisclosed amount of time to some type of knee injury (MRI was inconclusive) and David Nelson suffered an ACL and is done for the season. What about your team?? ____________

	My team, of sorts, Dallas came through with a win. And odd as it may seem since I never was a Peyton Manning fan during his tenue at Indy I enjoyed watching his return to football at Denver. ____________ Bob DeWoody

	Been a 49er's fan since I was little, and I stick with them. They also have a back up quarter back that came from the University of Nevada Reno, which is another reason I stick with them. So far so good. We'll see how they do down the road. ____________

	NFL go! We only have the CFL here; my team is the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Some people use the nick name The “Green Riders”, they are also called Gainer’s Gang. Gainer is the name of the team mascot. We used to have two teams called the Roughriders; alas the other team with that name has been lost to history. I can’t begin to explain the joy it gave me to tell people from your country about the fact that we had two teams with the same name and then try very hard to keep a straight face while doing it.

	My beloved Packers lost their home opener to the 49ers. I knew it might be a tuff game. We did not look real sharp. Now, on to the Bears. Tonight... At least they let us have the radios on at work during Packers games. This one is within the our division, and really counts more than the opener, other than the pride factor. 	I only caught what I could on the radio whilst I was working, but the Packers seem to have finally caught a groove. Was that some kinda record for the most QB sacks in a game, or what?
