You know GF. Those pics could have been the star pics in your next Raccoon thread. I don't remember Zsa Zsa being that small.

Do we really need to start new threads now that they load by pages? If so, I will find other pictures. We have far too many pictures of our critters!

Zsa Zsa and Eva are both small cats. Their mama died and these two, plus two brothers, were orphaned "bottle babies" that a few vet techs at our vet's office saved - much the way Esme's younger son is bottle feeding the bunnies. I often wonder if "bottle babies" tend to be smaller cats. Perhaps our Kittyman knows?

I think it was much easier for the vet techs to save these kittens than it will be for Esme's son to save those bunnies. The vet techs rotated the kittens from home to home every few days so that no one of them went for longer than a few days without a good night's sleep. During the day, they took the kittens into work and fed them there. Kittens (and bunnies I presume), like human infants, wake up to feed during the night. My brother and sister-in-law have an infant now and they just look exhausted all the time!

We are very fond of our "twins" Eva and Zsa Zsa and we are so grateful to the vet techs for putting in the time, effort and energy it took to keep this litter of orphaned kittens alive. The boys in the litter were adopted out together as well.

Bless you, Angela.
And all other 'keepers of the kittens' as well.

When you were a little one, you had to rely on others for your care. Kittens are no less so.
Perhaps more so, because they are simply so innocent of all.

We were all there. Kittens just remain there longer than the rest of us.

Cats.....what more does one need?

Have made friends in this life.
Most were cats.

Seeing the kitten and pupp at play, reminds me of our three black and white Shih-Tze puppies. They play together well, most of the time, and look like that - cute ...

It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues

Good going Angela, those Kittens were meant to survive and with help they will, hopefully the bunnies will too...

Yes, please. I think loading by pages a pretty dumb concept, compared to the previous, and so avoid it by using very long pages.

I disagree.

I agree with Mike and Angela on this thread business.

SETI forums says and I quote "*) Regarding long threads, for those who originate some of the more common threads--when they start heading towards 500-700 posts, please consider opening a new version. We do have some people who are on slower systems and/or even dialup Internet connections and long threads can be really frustrating (especially those with pics). Some have resulted in some concerns being expressed to the mods.

Simply open a new version and red-x the old version and the mods will lock the old version."

So I guess you don't care about the OP anymore. Sure I can go to the last page and find it. This change was not even up to a discussion here.
Just do to one poster. I would like the option of how I view this site.
MR DA give that back to us, please.

Sorry Vic but not the same. As a Mod or poster, it is important to see the original post. Sure you are allowed to wonder of topic a bit. But we are here to keep things clean . Hard todo in the current enviroment.

I agree, loading by pages is a bad idea, so I have chosen to show 1000 posts. I do NOT want to click on any "page" link, I want it to show all posts.
This is a test of the Emergency Moron System. Had there been a real moron in the room, there would've been a small mushroom cloud in the place where the idiot had been standing.

I also think it's better that the threads don't get too long.
