Yes, and the Badgers in the our midwest will be feasting upon Cornhuskers today.

For those of you unfamiliar with my little penchant for gambling, let me fill you in....

Two years ago Karen and I had a little bet riding on the Wisconsin Packers vs the Pittsburgh Steelers Superbowl Game. I won a lovely Packers jersey for Eric, along with a box full of delicious Pittsburgh-related food items. Last year Cowboy Dave and I had a little bet riding on the Wisconsin Badgers vs the Nebraska Cornhuskers game. I won a delightful cowgirl hat for me and a nifty personalized baseball cap for Eric.

Well, I'm afraid that foolish cowboy has decided to try his luck again. If the Cornhuskers win today (which is highly unlikely), I will be sending Cowboy Dave a box of cookies. If the mighty Badgers win, Cowboy Dave will be posting a recording of him vociferously singing the "On Wisconsin" Badgers fight song.

You can all look forward to hearing Dave sing.

I assure you the only sounds I'll be emitting is munching and crunching when my cookies arrive.

OMG, them sound like fightin words, thankfully I'm just an outside observer and I'm not a referee...

Wisconsin is up by 17 points.

Eric and I sure hope that cowboy is warming up his singing voice!

Edit: 20 to 10 at half time, but we're still feeling confident.

Hmmmmm.......... the score is tied now. It's an exciting game, but a Badger win is inevitable.

30 to 27 - Nebraska wins.

Eric and I extend our heartfelt (and humble) congratulations to Cowboy Dave and to any other Nebraskan Crunchers out there.

Name your flavor, cowboy.

Thanks, guys! But that was a nail biter right down to the end! It sure could have easily gone the other way. I already had a couple sheet music sites bookmarked.

But as it turns out, those mighty Huskers pulled it off!

And anything that contains chocolate would be wonderful!!

Thank you! Thank you! We'll meet here again in about a year for the rubber match in this little competition.
