Well, you know what they say...

Hmmm...

I think honesty is very important, between friends or in a relationship.

I see the speculatron is working...

LOL Vic! Words more true were never spoken.

On a different topic, my sister has a pet deer! Apparently she has been feeding a doe over her back fence for a number of years now. My sister calls this deer, and it comes running out of the back canyon right up to my sister's back fence! Each year the doe brings a fawn or two, but the mama is the only deer who consistently comes back. The doe has a torn left ear, so she is easy to identify. My sister feeds the deer dead-headed roses, old apples that have become mushy, stale bread and other "treats" like that. I'll try to snap a picture the next time I visit.

I can't believe my sister, who teases me incessantly about feeding raccoons, has kept this secret from me for so long!!! I also don't know why she finally decided to let me meet this deer last weekend.

Critter feeding - nature or nurture?

Ah true the - real secret is knowing when not to ask.
That way whatever it is can remain unspoken, and honesty is retained.

Nah, all animals can be friended ...

You were saying??

Bushy Park Deer:

Animal Terrorizes Tourists At London Park

BUSHY PARK, England -- They call it the Beast of Bushy.

For the past week, this massive, short-tempered stag has been charging into British headlines, goring a man in the middle of a picnic and chasing one woman through the brush.

The stag's rampage has cast a shadow of fear over Bushy Park, a quiet suburban expanse of tree-lined avenues and ponds popular with retirees and stroller-pushing parents some 13 miles (21 kilometers) southwest of central London.

This place is just 3 miles from me Vic, and I am well aware of the perils at the beginning of the rutting season. The general public are considerably well informed about the situation, but sadly every year some behave irresponsibly.

As per usual, the press are looking for stories at the end of the "silly season".

Agreed, sad to say, some aren't, as Deer have antlers for a reason and it isn't just to look pretty to the females...

I agree Julie. But humans are fallible, we have to allow for that, with forgiveness and tolerance on occasions.

Wow Mike. If you are NEVER able to forgive or to act with tolerance, your blood pressure must be through the roof, dude!!! Seek medical attention before you stroke out, my friend.

It depends on the occasion.
Its not all that easy.

A few things a friend should never do.
Never ever.

Its not all that easy.

For those of us who practice the Judeo-Christian faith, forgiveness is required of us. But as God knows, we imperfect humans sometimes need quite a bit of healing time before we can forgive some insults and injuries. But still, the sooner, the better, for our own mental health.

Speaking of mental health, I need to go feed the kitties before I go to bed.
