Sirius B,

So who "Engineered" 'them'?

Who was it that made God?...

If there is a God, "He" gave me the high intelligence I possess, and that includes knowing the difference between "your" and "you're". :)

Martin,
That is one answer i don't have, so i won't lie to you. I speculate, just like us, they too were created by another race of people who came before them. So they too would have been given a book just like the Bible we were given by our creators. So its cyclical and repeats itself over and over.

Now its our turn, we are almost there, we almost have all the rules of science. Once we have ALL the rules (we are still missing a few rules of science) then we know how everything works. Only at that stage does it become apparent that the people who gave us the bible were scientists themselves. Don't worry, they left plenty of scientific proof, as we will discover in the next few years. At this stage, we human beings start to clone ourselves, but we remove the bad bit of DNA code that shortens our lives. So in effect, we become immortal, just like Jesus said.

So in turn, we go off and start a new Genesis on a fresh new virgin planet. We start from scratch, Terra-form the planet, spend a few thousand years creating brand new plants and animals, then we finish by creating new human beings. But being careful to shorten their lives to about 70 to 80 years so they can't catch up with us too quickly. We do as our creators done, we give our new human being creatures books just like the Bible was given to us. And the cycle repeats itself over and over again.

I don't know when it started, but we human beings are just another link in a very long unbroken chain of intelligent scientific peoples that have done this for a very long time. And we will repeat the process.

I speculate that is what happened.

John.

Sirius B,
They live on a planet that orbits another star, not our Sun. A star that is close to us. In all probability, its one of the stars you can see in the night sky without any binoculars or telescope. But no, i don't know which one. And i'm not willing to speculate.

John.

So what makes them human rather than alien?

Who created them as you discount evolution?

Those points raise the question: -

"Which came first? The chicken or the egg?"

Sorry John, I gotta say this: -

For over 50 years the Irish have been the butt of numerous jokes, some I admit were excellent, but the majority were insulting. Unfortunately, you give those jokes substance.

Read the Bible Book of Revelation 4 and 5. It specifically talks about "scrolls" or "books" that God wrote, himself, in person, in ancient history, that are about to be opened. As the "books" are opened, specific events in human history that were foretold in advance, start to happen. Well Chris, these are the "old books" that i have. I have these "books" or "scrolls". Chris i'm the one who openes the books, or maybe i didn't open them, but i'm going to read out their content to the whole world. Do you understand what's happening? Do you understand what i'm doing?

John.

Which is it, that you have access to documents that God wrote, the "Lamb" mentioned in Revelation, or:

So its not that i'm special, cos i'm not.

?

Bobby,
I invited you into another thread there a while ago. I was being nice to you, i was trying to help you understand something that is very complex. Bobby you went into that thread and you cut your own throat. You have done this to me more than once now.

Bobby your on your own my friend. I genuinely wish you the very best of luck.

John.

Does "on your own" mean that you will not answer direct questions?
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ...

So then I can see a brotherhood of beings gatherd around the intergalactic telly laughing themselves silly at the reallity show of their handywork. Look planet xyz just wiped out this city with a nuke. Think they can survive untill they grow up?

As parent you dont let your kids do what ever they want unsupervised, you teach them and guide then and correct them when they do wrong.

If thats how this club of immortals works, Maybe we dont want to join them.

Sirius,
The Book of Genesis 1:26 says;
"Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness"

So its simple, we look like them Sirius!

Who created them as you discount evolution?

Those points raise the question: -

"Which came first? The chicken or the egg?"

I don't know, we can ask them when they come back. The Bible ends by saying "We'll be back". And i bet you thought Arnold Schwarzenegger was the one who invented that saying....LOL

Sorry John, I gotta say this: -

Sirius,
I actually take that as a compliment! Thank you!

Steve

Wow Steve,
That is an incredible article. I had no idea Einstein was so anti-religion. If the article is correct, and the letter is real, then this is what Einstein said;
Qoute Albert Einstein;
“The word God is for me nothing more than the expression and product of human weaknesses, the Bible a collection of honorable, but still primitive legends,” Einstein wrote in German in a 1954 letter that will be auctioned on eBay later this month. "No interpretation no matter how subtle can (for me) change this.”

Then Einstein goes on further to say;
For me the Jewish religion like all other religions is an incarnation of the most childish superstitions. And the Jewish people to whom I gladly belong and with whose mentality I have a deep affinity have no different quality for me than all other people. As far as my experience goes, they are also no better than other human groups … I cannot see anything ‘chosen’ about them

Wow, i thought Einstein was kind of partial to religion. its seems that he was very strongly anti-religion.

James,
Its very interesting to think about that whole scenario. I think about that a lot. I often wonder if we human beings are the subjects of reality TV shows for our immortal creators. You got to admit, we love reality TV. Our minds are naturally voyeuristic. Maybe they are watching us on their TV's. So today, they would have 7 billion human TV channels to tune into.

Nope, I dislike reality TV greatly. If all reality shows were pulled from the airwaves, I might actually return to watching TV (assuming reality TV is replaced with quality shows).

Of course he was, he was a clever man.
And a scientist. A true scientist looks at the evidence, or more specifically, the complete lack of evidence for religion.
