spent 10% of that on higher wages for his employees

Yep, this will not effect The Boss' 10% Tithing to His Church.

Yep, this will not effect The Boss' saving for His Children's Education, where He wants to PAY THE FULL TUITION for ALL THREE+++ Children, NOT DEPENDING AT ALL on The GOVERNMENT. In other words-HIS/HER CASH.

Yep, this will not effect the 10% or MORE the Boss is DONATING to Charitable Organisations, not his Church.

Yep, this will not effect The Boss' Savings, savings TO START OTHER BUSINESSES, which will EMPLOY MORE PEOPLE, people who on their own could NEVER start their own business to support themselves/family.

Yep, this will not effect The Boss' HELPING other Friends and Family Members in TIMES OF CRISIS or To START THEIR OWN BUSINESS, which will EMPLOY other people, who on their own could not, due to their, well, NO ABILITIES/COJONES.

Yep, this will not effect The Boss'____________________NEED I GO ON? Do you GET THE PICTURE, EL Communist/Socialist/DEMLib?

Yep, Take Take Take, someone ELSE'S INCOME. It is The Way, OBlabby Voters Want It.

Yep.

Perhaps if we simplify the rules so that anybody who goes into business can effectively compete against those who currently make a million dollars with their team of lawyers, we can have more folks employed who pay taxes, less people on government subsistence, a larger GDP, less federal deficit, less inflation, stronger economy, more production, more American dream?

Guy, I like this post. And I mean that. I like where you are going here.

Where we disagree, is that simplifying the rules is not the answer to that problem IMHO. If you simplify the rules (without doing it VERY VERY carefully) you will just leave as much room for the "big dogs" to exploit as they already have, possibly more.

Again, I like the statement you made, but I think (more) tough regulations are what's needed to work towards that goal.

When you pay your $130,000 then you have credibility in your comments.

And there we have it. Only the filthy rich have credibility. . .

This is why there is this huge divide this election season. It really has come down to two very basic and very different lines of thought.

If the man makes 40 Million in a year, you really think 13% is acceptable? You think that $5 million dollar tax payment is hurting someone who still has 35 MILLION left over? You think anyone needs that kind of money? You don't think he could survive just fine on $5 Million a year? I mean that's still multiples more that even the richest of us normal folk make. That's the whole point. Once upon a time these high taxes charged to the rich built this country into what it once was, infrastructure, education, and projects that advanced technology for all of mankind. It made us a GREAT country. And the rich who paid these high taxes, still lived the high life (with that much money how can you not?) Somewhere along the line, man did we go wrong, and now everyone wonders how do we fix it?

4th angle makes a great deal over those job creators.
Where are the jobs dude?

The pampered wealthy elites have increased their share of the pie.
The corporate sector is sitting on mountains of cash.
Where are the jobs?

Society bought the dribble down theory and allowed the rightists to lower taxes on the corporatists and the wealthy. They promised that a rising tide raises all boats.

Well, the tide is in.
The biggest yachts are all afloat but those working people sitting in their canoes are adrift and taking on water.

North America's best years were when the working class had stability and a voice in the country's direction.

During the rein of that socialist Dwight Eisenhower the very wealthy paid up to a 90% rate and you see what that did to the country!

Worst case scenario if Romney takes the crown the oil rich canada will be invaded by the supreme empire if not militarily then by sophisticated political mechanisms and long arms that Washington master. And middle eastern political balances will get out of hands maybe 100 000 more american troops will be shipped there in the next 2 years. Basically pre conditions of Armaggeddon.

Whole world witnessed that what kind of political disaster soup Romney has cooked just before the London summer olympics beginning he literally made uk his enemy. So weird.

Orgil, these are not the long arms that Washington master, but rather the business tactics being taught in the business grad schools. The Brits are as least as pernicious.

It is true that Bush has systematically broke down or failed the Washingtons long arm around the world that turned most of europe his enemy. Obama very domestically struggled in the home fronts but Romney will try that aggressive republican right wingish attitude and will attack on every oil rich zones in his sight that is granted.

We should remember that in 2007 Washington was so isolated power so the economy all around quickly slipped into recession. Condolisa Rice was most desperate lady in 2007.

But chinese was the winner on western failure they managed to suck 2 trillion dollars from western overly confident attitude. I mean westerners still fail to recognize eastern geopolitical tactics. So it is granted if Romney wins chinese will manage to suck another 2-4 trillion dollars out of overly confident right wing attitude.

Orgil you may be correct, but the big multinational corporations will do nothing but prosper in the short term. It is the populous that will be bled.
IMO you are putting too much emphasis on the politics and not enough on the economics which are driving the politics.

But in the east it is politics over rule economy as long as russia china concerned.

Thanks to chinese political shift some billionares in the west managed to pocket few billion dollars through cheap labor thing but in turn they lost their macro balances so they slipped into recession or depression whatever thing.

Maybe that housing bust was added spice.

What is being overlooked is that all the cash the "1%" have is sitting in share portfolios, hedge funds and off shore bank accounts. It is not being used to "create jobs".

If they got off their backsides and invested in actually producing something rather than speculation then the "dribble down" theory might have some validity.

The more money that is tied up in the hands of a few, the less there is available for the rest to spend on anything but the essentials of food and shelter. This effects a wide range of manufacturers of non-essential goods and retailers who then either have to cut staff/close down. Thus the downward spiral continues

Oh and nice calling anyone that disagrees with you a "Communist/Socialist/DEMLib".

I am not so much a democrate as I am anti republican...as I have only meet a few hardcore liberals in my entire 35 years on this planet but have meet fare to many right wing crazys like you.
