I just realized that is just a couple of weeks more than 3 years ago my friend Les Paul passed away. I was soooooooooo stricken at the time. I had grown up listening to his music constantly. He was the reason I got involved in stereo equipment.....starting before there were two channels to listen to. My fascination with electronics born of that love eventually brought me here to Seti. It's a bit amazing how a little seed planted so many years ago could lead one so far. Les, I know you are still modding your guitars in heaven. Some day, I shall come to see you and listen to what you have done since leaving this little planet. For now, I shall have to recall the bits you left behind here. Oops, what was that? A tear running down my cheek? 'S OK, you shall erase that in a heartbeat. You always could. You always did. Bless you, my friend. Waiting for the Sunrise. RIP Mary and Les Thanks, Pawly. Unfortunately, blocked in the US by Sony ferchrissakes. This was the song.....Tennesse Waltz. And you have to switch to 240p for the audio. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |
