There is a new Fire house going up 2 blocks from my house. I was just wondering if Mark is going to do an inspection on the new Engine headed there. BOINC WIKI |

The structure has two bays and is probably scheduled for an engine and a rescue squad. I believe that the rest of the vehicles in the local fire fleet have been produced at the factory where Mark works. BOINC WIKI |

I know we make the best fire offensive vehicles on this planet. Not the cheapest, but the best. You can afford it, we can build it. Like none other. You want a firefighting vehicle? You want a HDR (heavy duty rescue vehicle)? You want the best in the industry? Those are the people that buy Pierce. I build them every day. It is my life. And that of many others around me. When a single wire connection could affect a real life call. Yeah, that's why I make sure every crimp connection I make is perfect. The new Dash is just amazing.....never saw so much room in a cabin before. Not the cheapest, just the best. This is the way I have always lived my life......all or nothing. I make every wire connection as if MY life depended on it. EVERY one. This is my life. This is the Pierce fire truck factory. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

Mark, I hope that whenever you hear tell of someone being alive as the result of one of your fire trucks doing its job you hold your head up with pride, and beat that drum loud. As you say every crimp, every nut, every rivet, every drop of adhesive used in a modern rescue vehicle is there to do a job - and do it properly.
