FWW I am running an MSI 870-G45. It does not carry the same manufacturer warning, but I have noticed on long runs (8 hours or more) the CPU fan will slow more than 500rpm's, causing the system to run a little hotter than I like.
This box is my first build & I did not have Seti in mind when I designed it. I liked the "mil-spec" description of the MSI boards, but I think for the next build I'll try something else.

I had a MSI P67A-GD65 mainboard, which does not carry this warning, which failed after about half a year of heavy usage (SETI@home optimized with 8 CPU threads and 2 GPUs). It may be a one-time thing, though. I never had any stability issues with this board befor or after the replacement.

While I was still running a dual-GPU setup, I had three (!) MSI N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II/OC that failed (the fans broke all three times) in nine months.
So far, it has only been an annoyance because all defects were covered by warranty, but I don't think I'll ever again buy MSI products. I had very good experiences with their products before, don't know why quality seems to have gone down so much.
