RIP Neil Armstrong...
Armstrong, who had just turned 82, underwent surgery on August 7, 2012, to relieve blocked coronary arteries.[121] He died at 2:45pm[122] on August 25, 2012, at a hospital in Columbus, Ohio, from complications following that surgery.

"High Flight"
Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
of sun-split clouds, — and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of — wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there,
I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air....
Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue
I've topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace.
Where never lark, or even eagle flew —
And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
- Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.
John Gillespie Magee, Jr.
RIP Mr. Armstrong.

R.I.P. Neil, I will remember.
His family's statement Saturday made a simple request for anyone who wanted to remember him:
"Honor his example of service, accomplishment and modesty, and the next time you walk outside on a clear night and see the moon smiling down at you, think of Neil Armstrong and give him a wink." |

We all leave `footprints in the sands of time` down heer on earth they dont stay visible for long.
Up there on the moon his will last eon`s of time.
And may even outlast our entire stupid species the its going. |

As commander of the Apollo 11 mission on 20th July 1969, Armstrong became the first human to set foot on the moon.
"That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."
I remember the day so well, I never thought that I would see it in my lifetime but I did. We ought to give him a posthumous Knighthood as arguably one of the most famous men in history.
RIP Neil
