I upgraded to Mountain Lion a couple weeks ago. Now BOINC will no longer start. I tried reinstalling it, but still get the same error message:

BOINC Manager

You currently are not authorized to manage the client.

To run BOINC as this user, please:
- reinstall BOINC answering "Yes" to the question about
non-administrative users

or

- contact your administrator to add you to the 'boinc_master'
user group.

On reinstallation, I received no such cited question. And I am the administrative user.
I also contacted the online support team, but they had no solutions to offer.

Any advice on this?

You need BOINC 7.0.31 or above to be able to install BOINC on Mountain Lion. All previous versions their installer won't be able to do so.

7.0.31 is available from http://boinc.berkeley.edu/download.php.

Read the Security section in the Readme.rtf that comes with the installer. It will explain why you're hitting that wall.
