Hi, is there a way to tell Boinc to only use 4-6 threads instead of all eight for example? Lars Hernborg (Cekari) Regards /Cekari (Lars Hernborg) English is a funny language, seldom it spells the words like I do! |

Yes, there is. Set in your Computing preferences: On multiprocessors, use at most 50% of the processors (for 4 threads) or On multiprocessors, use at most 75% of the processors (for 6 threads). Both settings would result in only one thread being processed on your core2 duo though. To prevent that, either use different venues (default, home, work, school) with your online preferences or use the local ones. Gruß, Gundolf Computer sind nicht alles im Leben.
