Harry Reid has been involved in shady land deals and stock insider trading. He got money from congress to build a bridge near property that he owned, increasing it's value many fold. He is an emblem of what's wrong with our government. His net worth exceeds 10 million dollars so he is railing against himself when he denigrates the rich.

Why is there two sets of rules? One for the common man, like myself. Another for the elite who make the law?

What is Ironic is Nitt's father was one of the first Politicians to make his Tax returns public when running for office.

I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ...

Romney's claimed 13% tax rate does show his contempt for the concept of shared sacrifice. I guess it is the old carrot and stick thing. We want our people to be prosperous, so those who are should be rewarded and those who are less well off should be given incentives, such as a higher tax rate so they will be more motivated to become prosperous.
The beatings will continue until moral improves.

The parties not only kick each other when they are down, but they also pick each other back up, because each needs its opponent in order to continue the farcical show of difference in order to contain real opposition within their bifurcated fraudulence.
