Hi,

Just returned SETI@home after a few yrs break.

I've got the BOINC client running well, but I seem to remember you could download a little quicker.

At the moment I've set all the preferences correctly .. I think...

But.. BOINC will only download or carry out 2 transfers at a time.

I've unlimited hi-speed broadband and it's set in preferences for virtually unlimited access, but BOINC will only carry out 2 downloads at a time.

As I've just started, most of these files are about 366kb. My connection should do a dozen of these a minute ..

Why is it so slow ? What can I do .. or is it a problem at the Berkerly end ?

Regards
