I'm new here, so, if this question has already been answered or is a dumb question, I apologize for burdening everyone.

I downloaded & installed BOINC and then selected seti@home as my project. In the BOINC Manager "Transfers" tab, it showed files being downloaded. I searched for them on my computer but couldn't find them. Where are they? (I'm running Windows XP.)

Thanks.

default place for the data directory under Windows 2000/XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\BOINC\

It will probably be a hidden directory.

Mostly, you should not touch the files in the BOINC Data directory.
