Oh btw, I believe I was the original starter of the Discussion of Cafe' Games thread, it was created to avoid cluttering up the game threads with this stuff.
Originally because some of the BEETS captions just had to be commented on.
My opinion:( and Gary or whoever can certainly take over ownership of it) this is the place for the clutter. It avoids Drama IN the game threads. If we need to declutter the clutter then... oh what ever works.

I agree. Much of my personal enjoyment of the word link thread comes from figuring out how the other person made their link. Rather than clutter this thread, or the word link thread, please can we have an "education about word links" thread?

Hi Bernie, hmm, a bit tenuous at best ...

A link is a link. Some of the fun in this game is the spontaneous link that forms in your mind upon seeing a word. Explaining the link takes the fun out of it.

I've often wondered what fun a psychotherapist could have trying to analyze the players here based on these "Word Link" threads.....
