I notice we are getting close to the end of the extended counting pictures thread. We extended it once and we seem to have run out of a large number of different subjects to pick from.
Do you want to let it die for a while? Do you want to start with one again? Do you want to put a theme for the pictures, e.g. transportation or electronic parts? Do you want to go to 10,000 again or something shorter like 5000? Or maybe do do something like 1000 to 3000? (Do a bit of searching to be sure there are pictures with numbers for what you propose though.)
While I kind of enjoy the rail fan pictures, perhaps that might be its own thread. Or even a pretty landscape thread, which might be of more general interest. (We used to have a big picture thread.)
Stuff to think about. No rush we still have a few hundred to go and not that many posting any more.
I have stopped posting recently for other reasons. I enjoy this thread and think when it reaches its current goal it could return to "1" as it is a while since its been there.
As to the picture content, perhaps a rule that if the last post was a car number plate - knitting pattern - lego or whatever, the the next picture should be different, something I try to do anyway.
Just some thoughts
Bernie
That's what I have been trying to do. I try to find something as opposite as possible to entertain myself.

^^^ (Pictures, count to xxxxx) But the legos I personally love.
Legos are awesome. And it was very nice seeing which random set any given number correlated to.

Yes they are awesome. I have buckets around here.
Sigh, Brad wasn't the answer James was looking for. Per the rules, I googled it after the post.

I wasn't suggesting banning Lego sets, just not consecutive pictures, it's more of a challenge if you can't post the same thing post after post.
As I have said just my suggestions.

In the caption game I picked Blurf for the winner and Julie as number 2, so far I have only heard from the 3rd place winner LadyL. If I don’t hear from the 1st or 2nd place person to day I’ll award the win to LadyL.
I am sorry, I am very sick right now so I have had my puter turned off.

NP Ian - get well.
It is customary to PM the winner (1st place) first and work your way down with PMs as people fail to pick up the baton within 24h of being PMed.
Somebody correct me if I've got the rules for this wrong.
As such I'm standing by with a pic if neither Blurf nor Julie can play.

Yes Blurf turned up. But I think there was a rule, if you couldn't post a pic withing 24 hrs you pass it on.
That said, we have been very forgiving, as Seti could be down, work, or other major issues.
Maybe we should look at Beets rules. Just to start.
