Seaquest DSV, crikey that's a blast from the past.

VTTBOTS lasted longer, 4 vs 2.5...

Hows about Space 1999, when the Moon was blasted from Earth orbit and Moon Base Alpha's adventures were followed?

That was originally going to be UFO's 2nd season, when it was mutated into it's own show, still both are top notch shows, although I'm not sure how much it would take to blast the moon out of a tight tidal orbit without shattering the moon. Still that was 2 seasons and the mesh net uniforms went away with the purple wigs, the wigs were ok to Me, catsuits or not.

Space: 1999 is a British science-fiction television series that ran for two seasons and originally aired from 1975 to 1977. In the opening episode, nuclear waste from Earth stored on the Moon's far side explodes in a catastrophic accident on 13 September 1999, knocking the Moon out of orbit and sending it and the 311 inhabitants of Moonbase Alpha hurtling uncontrollably into space. The series was the last production by the partnership of Gerry and Sylvia Anderson and was the most expensive series produced for British television up to that time.

I liked it... Some did say it was a bit dark though.

Will look for it in the video library when I get back I think.

After a day of looking around and talking to a friend of mine, I've procured some of season one of Seaquest DSV. Cheesy as it is, I'll at least watch the first few episodes (Spielberg :-)). Now, to hook up this ancient piece of equipment known as a VCR, hmmm. Off to dig through boxes of AV stuff.

Went to the video library today. I looked for Seaquest. Didn't find it, and when I asked for it, the guy said he never heard of it...I can still try somewhere else. Did get True Romance though, such a good movie...

see here: http://www.tv.com/shows/seaquest-dsv/

it was a great series baCk then . . .

I've ordered it already at Amazon. Looking forward to watching.
