Happy Poet's Day back atcha!!!

Gosh you iz an early bird, after being up in the small hours!

Come on Chris, you know the game
Insomnia's my FAVORITE game!!!
Last night I barely slept a wink
My brain kept buzzing - think, think, think
I tossed and turned then shouted, "Rats!"
This afternoon I'll nap with cats...

Edit: Whoops! That first line was supposed to be
"Come on Chris, you know the name"

I must be tired...

Sorry to hear you cannot stay
I most enjoy our Poet's Day
"Hi" to Joanne, I hope you both find
Some time this week to just unwind.

This Ocean, a bed of tears
They fulfill my desires, drift

Now then Ang
I know the score
Up all night, and game for more
But wildlife Wardens
Need their snooze
Can't be doing with the booze

Raccoons always need to be fed
Kitties need a pat on the head
A busy life you do so lead
But you is a winner
That I do concede!

I'll admit I'm feeling punchy
Sure I'll fall asleep by lunchy...
I assure you I'm cold sober
But Benadryl could win me over...
All raccoons here are well fed
I've patted all the kitty heads
I guess I'll eat some breakfast now
And rhyme some later, after chow...

That little vid was Oh, so cute!
Just like our smallest dog a while ago.
Now, we are on POETS Day, and I cannot keep up,
without the aid of a glass or tree of the good stuff.
It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues

Hi there John, come join the fray
See what you've done with "Poet's Day"?!!!
I should be busy doing stuff,
Instead I'm penning rhymes so rough!
I'm REALLY going upstairs now,
But I'll be back, if fates allow.

Happy Poet's Day everyone!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy POETS Day to all out here.
But, I need a beer here, to sit and stare.
It looks like Angela is in rhyming mood,
which, for me, is far too good.

I'm ALWAYS in a rhyming mood!
I eat up word games like they're food
I'll pop in here throughout the day
And see if Poets want to play...

Today at work between some cardboard materials a mouse nest was discovered and disturbed accidentally. Not knowing where mom was some of us were concerned that the mice would not make it.

However about a half hour later, mom showed up and we gave her some space. One by one she grabbed the mice and moved them somewhere nearby. That made my day. (I was unable to get pictures of the mom as we did not want to scare her at all.)

The irrational critter-lovin' person in me is thinking "Aaaaawwwwwwwwww"!

(A teeny, tiny, slightly more rational part of me is thinking, "Yikes! You have mice at work?!!! Can you say Hantavirus?!!!"

:-) LOL!

We have mice at work yes, it's a very large very old building, mice are the least of the pest issues. Personally, I laugh my @ss off when a mouse is spotted and scares some women.
