Hello Friends and Welcome to the 14th installment of our Critter Cafe!

To those who might be new to us, this is a place where people who appreciate critters gather to discuss whatever interests them.
There is no such thing as "off topic" in the Critter Cafe.

To start us off, here are a couple of pictures for your amusement.

Here are two of the three raccoon babies in a picture Eric took from inside our house last night.
(Gigi and the babies are too shy to tolerate us being outside with them right now.)

Here is another picture that Eric took last night of Gigi and Purvis.

And here is a rare wildlife photo I managed to capture the other evening of "space astrophysicists in their natural state".

So who is the Lady with Eric then????

She is a friend of ours who is a physics professor at a university in another state. She is staying with us for a couple of weeks while she and Eric work on a paper they are writing.

Purvis lives permanently under our deck right now.
This skunk and her baby are regular visitors, but they come into our yard from someplace else.

Skunk litters usually come in threes or fours. This baby is too old to still be hanging out with mama!

I call this dyad Virginia and Andrea.

I know their pretty Angela, but I'm glad there aren't any here, Hesperia has some near the mountains where I lived before here, a lifetime ago in 2004, I'd only moved out here cause I had to, the family wanted to sell the place I'd found for My Brother and Me, It was still just in His name, He'd wanted to put Me on the deed, but when He lived in His ex-wifes place in early 2004 in Her front room in a hospital bed(He was dying) that all changed. Water under the bridge, as I didn't pay as much attention much in 2003 as I should have. One of a few regrets I have.

Hi soft, I don't think Ive seen you in a few.

Baby skunks are adorable... You have to see them rolling around playing as babies to appreciate it. Of course when they get bigger it's time for them to go.

We had a family living outside of the company I work at about 4 or 5 years ago. The babies were cute. But later in the season when they got bigger we had one wander in an open door. At that point the company got some traps and relocated them.

Well it looks like we got very lucky. My family sent us six lobsters from the east coast for us to eat before I get too sick to manage it. Well Purolator messed up the shipment, and that meant we were out of luck. Bang! The lobster people called to-day to let us know that they were sending six more at the shipper’s expense.
We will clue you in to how it all turns out on Wednesday.
Gee I am feeling better somehow.

The lady on the left, my sweet little sister Lynda, along with her daughter Kathryn, and My dear departed Mum, is the one who set up the goodies for us.

Great picture Celt.
Shame about the self detonating lobsters. In many ways its good that they went bang before you tried to eat them.
