Ok, I'm going to toss in a wild guess. Is there some fancy kung fu way of pressing on one of the laryngeal cartilages or perhaps on the hyoid bone that somehow pinches the vagal nerve and affects one's heartbeat?

Ok, I'm going to toss in a wild guess. Is there some fancy kung fu way of pressing on one of the laryngeal cartilages or perhaps on the hyoid bone that somehow pinches the vagal nerve and affects one's heartbeat? It does not affect heartbeat. Left nostril was closer than larynx or hyphoid. No, it does not affect the vagal nerve. It does not incapacitate. It merely prevents them from walking any closer. ____________ BOINC WIKI

Where do you put a single finger on the person that is walking towards you such that they cannot walk towards you anymore? On the "close doors" button of the elevator? LOL... If it is in the body of the other person I'll choose the gap between the nose and the upper lip (I think it's called philtrum...) ____________

Where do you put a single finger on the person that is walking towards you such that they cannot walk towards you anymore? On the "close doors" button of the elevator? LOL... Yes, it is on the body of the other person. Yes, it is on the gap between the nose and upper lip. Curl your index finger and get the rest of the fingers out of the way. Place between the upper lip and nose of the person walking towards you. Hold your arm, wrist, and finger stiff. They will not be able to continue walking toward you. HOWEVER, they can still do a lot of damage to you from just past the reach of your arm. ____________ BOINC WIKI
