I first ran old S@h back in 2001 on an old 500MHz Celeron. After about 7 WUs though i gave up and forgot about it. Came back to it three years later with a 3 GHz P4, which (bar memory and drive upgrades) is still my main PC. Also have a 1.6 GHz AMD Turion in my laptop and a 2.6 GHz Celeron in the Media Centre, but in power terms i'm still in the dark ages.
I badly need to upgrade, sadly our esteemed education system has left me almost bankrupt.

I have 16GB here, problem is their 2 kits and they don't seem to like each other, so I'm running with 8GB ram instead, but then I have bigger more important things to do. Like get a water block for My R3E motherboard, a 1600w psu, 4-xspc 590 blocks, a pair of blocks for the p7p55d pro & 6 590 cards, that will then take care of the harder to get parts, as I'll still need 5 radiators, 1 xspc dual bay pump/reservoir, tubing, some fittings, a drill bit & a cordless drill for removing 2 cases 3.5" drive bays.
