	And it looks like we are starting to come back up.... Crickets showing some life again, just completed some uploads and reported. yeah, an hour ago i had 100 or so tasks waiting to upload...they've all uploaded since then. however i'm still having problems reporting...in fact i probably have several hundred tasks waiting to report. Have you tried <max_tasks_reported>100</max_tasks_reported> in your cc_config.xml file? thanks...that got my reporting working again. Good to hear. Reporting should work at higher numbers than that, but the smaller the scheduler request, the easier it seems to be on the servers when they are struggling a bit. I have this on all of my rigs. It makes things a little slower getting all work reported after an outage, but unless your rig can crunch perhaps 50 or more WUs every 5 minutes, you should be able to leave it active and have no problems staying current. ____________ ****** "Ask not, what your kitty can do for you. 	uploads and reporting seem to be recovering, but now downloads are impossible and the cricket graph is rapidly running out of green paint. ____________

	Lots of green on the Server Status page, but network traffic shows no downloads, and none of mine are downloading. All of the backedup uploads went through like bullets. ____________ Grant Darwin NT.

	While i was out i ran out of s@h tasks and ended up with a heap of einstein, Downloads are on glue. Uploads are on speed, And i got eleven ghosts on tasks page cos i only got 20 of the 31 `in progress` It`l fix

T.A. yes. my uploads are fine, but i haven't been able to report or get new work for approx. 3 hours now. That's the problem, the doanload server isn't up to the task... I'm not sure SETI's upload/download server, and their BW is quite up to the task of this wow signal event.... It keeps timing out on WU downloads, pretty much the vast majority of the time... ____________

	It looks like both download server are offline, or not reachable.

	At the moment uploads & downloads are happening, but Scheduler requests are hit or miss. Mostly miss. When i do get a response, it's after quite a long wait. EDIT- oh, and has anyone else noticed their RAC plummeting ever since the outage? ____________ Grant Darwin NT.

	It looks like .13 is again reachable. .18 have problems. My machine have currently 3/4 pending 1/4 granted work units. Normally it's 2/4 and 2/4. 	Same here, but I got tons of completed downloads, all ya gotta do is hit "retry now" in the transfer tab every once in a while and very slowly you'll get them downloaded. That works fine for normal server operation - the trouble is that, currently, downloads immediately stall after trying that. That's what happens for me, I imagine it's the same for many others. ...and given that so many are struggling at the moment, I'm guessing it's a pretty widespread issue.
