Even though there has been no AP split, or waiting to be split, for a few days now the crickets are still at max throughput, There is an lot of work flying arround the planet. We can not blame AP for a full pipe this time. |

Even though there has been no AP split, or waiting to be split, I think we might have a shortie storm going on at the moment. At least across my machines I see a lot of them that were downloaded the past few days. On the machine I'm on right now 35% of the tasks on hand are shorties. Woo Hoo ! Two new 'tapes' have uploaded on the last half hour, for the AP splitters to chew on. Download speeds should drop to normal, and the cricket graph will be legimately maxed out. [/panic] AndrewM |

Doubt it's the APs.... But at times the forums are lagging very badly this morning again. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

Doubt it's the APs.... Seem to be ok at the moment. I notice the replica is getting further & further behind. There don't seem to be a lot of shorties out there- the number returned per hour is about average & the results in progress has actually been dropping for a few days now. Grant Darwin NT |

Anyone knows why there have been no XML stats updates recently? |

Anyone knows why there have been no XML stats updates recently? There's been one every day for the last seven days, counting today. |

Yeah, sorry, rather looks like an issue @BOINCstats, it shows that it hasn't done an incremental update in +7h, Free-DC shows the updated numbers from today... :(Anyone knows why there have been no XML stats updates recently? Ralf |

Sometimes the stat sites have issues just as there can be issues on the S@H end. I use two different primary stat sites for tracking my numbers. As one is normally updated when the other is taking a few days off. SETI@home classic workunits: 93,865 CPU time: 863,447 hours Join the BP6/VP6 User Group[ |

Front page news: Science Database Updates With the Science Database disabled, that means no assimilation, and no Canonical Results can be added to the science either. So, no validation, and all reported tasks will go into 'pending' for the duration. |

Well this is somewhere between depressing and infuriating.. I was the only one to return this WU.. http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=1020932540 and it was marked as invalid and my consecutive valid has been reset. I think someone updated, or changed a setting in, the forum software. I have been using 20 for the forum "Display this many messages per page". Which would normally show the first message and then a bar with "click here to show the rest". Now I get 20 messages with "show next 20" at the bottom. Which wouldn't be to bad if it went to the first page with the new post. As I have "Jump to first new post in thread automatically" enabled. Anyone else notice this? I think someone updated, or changed a setting in, the forum software. I see you've found the Cafe thread where this is being discussed. |

I think someone updated, or changed a setting in, the forum software. I did. I was about to edit my message to put a link to that post, but now I don't need to do so. SETI@home classic workunits: 93,865 CPU time: 863,447 hours Join the BP6/VP6 User Group[ |

OK, so according to the SSP both science databases are disabled and no new WUs created... what is than using up all the bandwidth since midnight? |

OK, so according to the SSP both science databases are disabled and no new WUs created... what is than using up all the bandwidth since midnight? My machines did get several tasks assigned to them before they took the database offline. Perhaps the bandwidth is everyone downloading their assigned tasks?
