How often does an 'interesting' signal occur?

Just wondered how often a signal crops up that warrants further checking?

pretty much every WU that returns has something of interest. The important thing is that these interesting signals repeat themselves in the same spot in the sky

Thanks for that. I had no idea if it was possibly every WU, or one in a million WU's. I realise 'something interesting' could be anything and multiple checks are made etc, but was just curious.

virtually every WU finds something of interest that is reported back to S@H. The trick is having the result match certain criteria setup that matches what an ET singal would supposedly be. Those results are then put through the NTPKr process to weed out and sort signals. In the end very few "signals" (pulses,triplets gaussians or spikes) actually meet the criteria for potential signals
