Whenever I do tasks, be it for Primegrid or SETI, my progress for each task is only updated a few times per day. When it does update, it only shows the progress in thirds. For example I have a task that has a estimated time of 9hrs. When I reach 4hrs it updates to 33.3333%, and when I hit 7 it goes to 66.6666%. It remains at 66.6666% until I hit the estimated completion time (9 hrs) when it jumps to 100%.

I am running a task per core(quad), plus a supplement from my gtx460. Is there anything I can do to increase the refresh rate/accuracy? Its working correctly, but it's frustrating when It shows no progress for 3 hrs and then jumps a bunch.

Thanks in advance.

If I recall correctly, this is expected behavior from PG, but S@H is supposed to update at the frequency you tell it to.

I'm going to assume the same happens with Yoyo@home. I'll look into saving the frequency for seti.

You want to set the "Tasks checkpoint to disk at most every". The default should be every 60 seconds. This is valid for almost every project. Some projects cannot checkpoint at will, and will have much longer spells between checkpoints.
