I heat My coffee in a 42 year old GE coffee pot, a percolator, drip coffee makers are mostly junk to Me, but then I've had 3 drips fail in as many years, then I got the GE again, smooth sailing and the pot will probably outlast Me.

It's just the reverse here, as I have 3 glass pots cause the drip coffee makers went kaput(1 Krups and 2 Mr Coffees), the manufacturers said go buy a new one, so after 3, I gave up as they were all made in China and are all crap, My GE will not let Me down. Plus I don't have to buy any paper filters...
