Since the Mason Dixon line runs between Maryland and Pennsylvania, there are not that many states it could be.

Maine?
Vermont?
New Hampshire?
Connecticut? (Does Connecticut have a mountain?)
New York? Yes
New Jersey?
Pennsylvania?
Rhode Island?
Delaware?

Much farther west and we stop being really east coast.

Ohio?
Michigan?
Indiana?
Illinois?
Iowa?
Missouri?
Minnesota?

This is the mid point of the country.

Thank you, this one will be easy. Name what this is, and part two is where it is. Bonus points for the year it was put up.

Reminds me of the Navajo/Pueblo Indian Thunderbird symbol.
The US Air Force Flight Demonstration Team is called the Thunderbirds.
Their Canadian counterparts are called teh Snowbirds, if I remember right.

I thought we had stopped multi=part questions, but no matter.

Is it a sculpture or a working aerial?

That was only in the tv trivia game.

Sorry I had to go away for a little bit.
It does not have anything to do with air shows.
If you mean the US of A when you say America:
No.
Canadian counterparts are called the Snowbirds,

You are correct about the display team name.

Ok, to clear things up a bit. What animal it looks like is not the only reason it is there, but then again it is part of why it is there. It represents an event that happened in the land of the free, and the home of the cold, Canada. I hope this helps, and does not confuse you.

Anything to do with the establishment of Nunavit Province for Native peoples?
The stylized Eagle/Thunderbird is a common totem/icon among Native peoples in North America.

Not an Eagle, but another bird,
and to do with a visit by a special person.
