Correct. Well done to skildude for knowing that they used one as a dining table before it was installed (strange use for a clock face but hey). They're actually the second largest clock-faces in the UK after the Shell-Mex building in London. Both of which are actually larger than the four on Elizabeth Tower (formally St Steven's Tower, aka Big Ben) on Westminster Palace, commonly erroneously believed to be largest in the UK. Thanks, I was slightly diverted from course by your crossword clues... Now all I've got to do is find a suitable piccy to keep folks guessing for a bit. Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

Technically you are correct in your description, but it doesn't get you much closer to the answer. Time for a hint. Where I'm stood you would have been dry, but around me it would have been wet or dry... Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

Technically you are correct in your description, but it doesn't get you much closer to the answer. Is it being used as an emergency spillway? BOINC WIKI |

Let's try a (cryptic) clue:- I am inclined to think that this is one that is making people a little foxed. But the answer is perfectly plane.... Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

Over to you Bernie. Actually the picture is not of the museum, but one of the two top access canals which were dammed off when the plane was abandoned in favour of the flight of locks (which are out of shot to the right) One day, maybe, we will see an new inclined plane at this location, but wit will need lots of money, and the loss of the last remnants of the original working, much to the annoyance of the historical artefact brigade....
