After a long while of being away from Boinc and Seti@Home I wanted to come back in and get started again... So I did what everyone else does and downloaded Boinc and got my password and all that... been running for about 2 days now or so. This evening I went to look at what's been done and what not and accidentally aborted a task that was at like 93% and had run for about 8 hours. Is there anyway that I can either get that back to finish the job so I get credit? Or do I recieve credit for what I have done? How does this work? Sorry for the noob question, like I said been about 2 years or so lol.... Chris |

If you really did abort the task then you won't get credit for it. However your stats are not showing any tasks as having been aborted, but they may be a few hours out of date. Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

This is your 'Aborted by user' task (as you see - No Credit (and this is normal for Aborted tasks)): http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=1012414337 It is not very easy to 'accidentally abort a task' as there is a question: Â - ALF - "Find out what you don't do well ..... then don't do it!" :) Â |
