Ever since the last power outage I am only getting CUDA untis on my main PC.

The event log shows requesting CPU and CUDA units.

I have trued resetting the project and it refilled with only CUDA units.

Anybody got some insight into what's happening?

thx

Certain versions of the BOINC client prefer to get CUDA units over CPU units until the CUDA queue is completely full. The latest version (may still in beta) will get CUDA units until there is no CUDA device idle, then get CPU units until there is no CPU idle, then fill the CUDA queue and then fill the CPU queue.

I have 2500 Cuda units in the Queue and one CPU unit running on a 6 core CPU.

I did get a batch of about 20 CPU units and am now processing the last one.

The Server status pages shows 250,00 units ready to send.

The event log gets no units avaiable response for the last request.

Seems odd to me.

My other machine is getting both unit types fed to it.

Just did automated request and got two GPU units. Still only the one CPU unit on the mchine.

You also have to look at the last updated time. 250K tasks will go in a couple of hours. If it was 250 tasks, those will go in seconds.

Also there is a ready queue of 100 tasks in memory. This is only updated once per second. So if the ready queue is emptied in a half a second the server will return that there are no tasks for the next half second. This situation can happen when the server is backlogged after an outage.
