Hello, I've used SETI on and off since it's inception. I always loved seeing the graphics but since I just installed it again I don't see the graphics, just the advanced view with the boring (but quickly moving) percentage bar. I'm running the CUDA version on a GTX 550TI. Any thoughts? I also have Docking running on my CPU and I'm able to see it's graphics. Thanks! Brian |

You're using the videocard to do calculations. The thought behind that was that when CUDA started around here, doing calculations on the GPU, any intricate 3D OpenGL graphics you did at the same time could interfere and increase the error factor. Thus no application app with the CUDA app. |

Yeah I was kinda thinking that it might be silly to use the same video card to pump out some graphics. Ok. Thanks for the quick response. |

I also have Docking running on my CPU and I'm able to see it's graphics. The same is true for the SETI CPU app, it has graphic part (unlike the SETI CUDA app) Â - ALF - "Find out what you don't do well ..... then don't do it!" :) Â |
