	What some seem to forget is....... Although John's success so far is all well and good........ I suspect some complications shall arise. Although he now has an immune system, it is like that of a newborn, yes? Unless the docs have found a way to impart a lifetime of learning to distinguish friend from foe, these new cells don't know what chicken pox, mumps, polio, or any other of a host of diseases we have become vaccinated from in our early years. 	I sincerely hope that you are wrong on this Mark. It is hardly the news that John would like to read 24 hours out of hospital. I am sure that his Consultant is aware of any risks.

Oh, I would suspect that John has been fully consulted on what he is facing, I don't think the kittyman has one up on his docs. I didn't go to Harvard or anything. 	It is amazing, and my transplant (new immune system) consultant says my blood results show it is working very well, especially the white cell counts (which are high). Mark is partially right in that my new immune system has no memory as to what I resisted in the past, including a complete immunity to all forms of small pox (a high likely virus here and now). The white cell reactions will be trained over the next few months just like a newborn. I will be on a regime of vaccinations from childhood + vaccinations ro resolve what is currently flying around the UK populations, so it will all quickly be back to normal as per everyone else. Sorry for the intermittent responded, but the chemo has really hit hard, and it will be a matter of time and time to recover and strengthen. One of the effects is to remove all interest in looking online. So, today is the first time I have perked up. Shows improvement ... ____________ It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues
