John, was that really Nurse Olga wanting to escape?
What have YOU been doing to get her to want to depart from the establishment she so loves and cherishes???

Thank you for the good escape wishes, from Nurse Olga,

The breathing has radically improved, thanks to antibiotics, and better than I expected from the progress described by the doctors.

Assuming the Hospital Pharmacy deliver on promice then escape is scheduled post lunch.

Heres-looking-at-ya ...

That's good news John:)

I wander what meds he's been sent home with this time - some of those last time had some "rather interesting" side effects...

Hi All

Just a quick note confirming Chris's post of earlier.

I arrived home about 5.00pm yesterday, but it seems I have slightly slowed a bit as things are taking time to sort out/adjust to/deal with.

Spent a bit of time catching up today, and for the usual stuff I have nearly caught up. Just need too read, understand and react to a number of items now awaiting my attention.

Thanks all and have a good week end ... lovely and sunny here, and has been all day (so far)

You're still recovering from pneumonia, so stay indoors on damp miserable days & keep yourself warm. You don't want to be catching another dose.

So glad to hear you are back on the road to recovery and are again at home with your furballs.
Rest when you need to, my friend.

John, let the furballs and Sheila look after you.
I'm not sure how well the furballs will be at delivering your sustenance, so I'd let Shelia do that....

I enjoyed the week end, which had less rain then forecast. Today I was able to sit on my garden park type bench and actually enjoy sitting in the sun and getting warm.

Breathing actually noticeably better as the twin antibiotics continue to clobber the pneumonia.

Chris

I've already convinced myself for other reasons. I suffered a deterioration of physical capacity compared 2 weeks ago. Then tasks seemed much easier than at the present.

Keep looking up John, looking down at the mower is not a good idea...
Sitting in a chair, making sure the chair doesn't move to far.
Oh, and make sure the furballs are located so you are comfortable and warm.

When I am sitting in my armchair I usually have between 2 and 4 furballs in my lap and on the back of the chair.

Thanks for the interest.

Was down at the Welby for lunch and reading the Times. Lincolnshire sausage and caramelised onion (smashing), a pint of Landlord then followed by a glass of white wine.

Aside from the noticeable improvement in breathing and some strength, the lunch completed my day.
