Been over to see the Grandchildren this afternoon. A most pleasant visit, and my youngest boy and family may soon be able to visit us in their own car.

Excellent day, complemented by equally excellent weather ...

So, my personal good news, like Julie's progress, seems to be continuing.

Just back from Lincoln hospital Osteo consultancy, and they want me back in 6 weeks for another, including an X-ray of the two upper arms (where the cancer nodules reside). Based on my Haematology consultation last week, where the paraprotein count fell to a normal rangs, the Osteo doctor thinks I may start to plate the bone again. This means the weak areas, where the cancer nodules reside, should have new plating bone deposited on the really weak areas. So, given time and the chemo reducing the size of the nodules in the bone marrow, I should be strengthened the bone density, and get a significant rise in the point the bone can potentially break.

From a personal view point this is a continuation of the good news, and I am currently on a roll.

The downside (minor) is getting the PCs and servers Chris got upstairs and connected up to run properly to get my RAC up to a billion per day (some hope!!).

Excellent, and Loverly-Jubbly

Yup, and too lazy to retype.

Near side door mirror replaced from Friday last, and looking for W2K OS discs, which are some where in this Office.

Not too enhanced from a P3 and two Nvidia 9500GT GPUs, but some increase would be noticeable when all is updated smoothly, including BOINC to 6.12.33 like the quad

Health wise very good observations, Mike. I hope it continues, then I will be heading for the stem cell treatment, and barrier nursing, in the next two months.

Possible long term remission coming up, the Lord willing ...

John, I'm praying that the stem cell treatment works very well.

Now the prospect of barrier nursing - that doesn't sound very pleasant, but hopefully you will make the best of it. After all it is alleged that some folks pay a lot of money to "have their needs" attended to by young ladies clad in latex...

Thank you all for the positive vibrations, and I can confirm continuing good progress. Indeed, the chemo effects have dropped the paraprotein results down to a normal persons figures.

I am hoping to persuade my consultant to another month of chemo (not strictly necessary) as I have an invite to develop a research & development project under Brussels SME FP7 call. I hope to write this (money is useful) then leave December for the stem cell.

Anyway progress is very good ...
