I'm damn sure there's at least another cellar

Sssshhhh that's where we keep the vintage port. It's on a need to know basis.

Well, now we all know, so get the glasses ready......

Message from the future: It is Day 10,950 of John Clark's recovery...It's been 30 years and John Clark is still complaining of the quality of pickles that he is getting...He does not believe in the worldwide pickle shortage...He believes that someone is hoarding the pickles that should be rightfully his to consume.

Hmm, thirty years to a pickle shortage. John better start laying up some so he can survive. I'll send over some freshly pickled walnuts (less than a year old) so he can start them maturing in his own secret pickle bunker. (I have a stash already, so I won't be short of a few cases)

We know you do, John; a jar of your vintage 1812 pickles was found
in the cellar...Rob and I ate them...oooooops!! Well, you were always going
to find out once you carried out a stock check down there in the cellar.

Been a smashing day today ...

The sun has shone well all day, and, as well as completing a few tasks not done before, I've sat on my bench at the back of the house for the last 2 + hours soaking/dozing in the warm sunshine.

That's nice John. Over here we had a sunny morning but it became clouded in the afternoon. Chilly though for the time of year.
