There is a word next to a numeric ID. Use of that word is generally prohibited. It is hard to discuss the OP without using that word, but can be done.

Example: It seems as if ID has painted himself into a corner and can't find an escape route and has to wait for the paint to dry.


Of course you can go the route the Chinese have to do to escape their Government censorship and use another word as a stand in, e.g. vacation. But you run the risk that the subterfuge may be discovered. I don't recommend it. I would suggest you start your own thread to discuss issues, not people / posters.

OB: IIRC a link was provided that led to a chart of how the Bible came to be written. It appears as if by now that is done by committee. We all know a committee is a headless beast with tentacles all over moving in jerks and fits.

That does not sound to me like a process where truth comes out, but more like political consensus of the most PC nature.

From experience I have found that truth is rarely pretty and usually very ugly.

There seems to be a huge push on in America to return to the dark ages. Unfortunately I suspect it is true. Brain washing of children is easy and far too accepted as people still fear being burned as a witch at the stake to speak out against it. Consider how a recent politician's statement that he thinks America should build a moon base was received.

Is this why some things which might be believed to be "true" sometimes is being censored?

Oh Gary you notice that too? Have you seen how extreme it's become lately? If certain people/interests keep getting their way, we could be going down a slippery slope. I really hope we do NOT head back to the dark ages, but some of the stuff I hear people say lately really makes me wonder.

IMHO there's a scary 30% out there somewhere that is so out of touch with reality they could destroy our intelligence altogether.
