	ID, I read and saw a bunch of statements and the spelling of statement is different than the spelling of evidence. I personally believe that those words are not synonyms. ____________

People like myself that constantly search for knowledge so that we can ascertain for ourselves on what to believe, were labelled as heretics & executed in all manor of ways just for asking questions. How can we, as human beings with the teachings from the various religions accept that God exists with the history of those that taught? ____________

	To me (I am not an apologetic so if this is not what you are looking for I will not post in this thread again) the bible is compilation of stories written by men, no matter who or what 'inspired' the book, it was still written by human fingers. None of it was burned into the pages by any god. So to me, if anything... it is definitely a good guide book. Personally I think most of the bible is a retelling of older stories. Babylonian texts also have flood stories, and stories similar to Adam and Eve (Adamu being the first man created) and Babylonian texts reflect older information from Ancient Sumer. If anyone tried to write something like it in this day and age he or she would be medicated to high heaven and deep hell because by society's standard, if you claim to talk to god, you are a certifiable nutjob.

I have just reread the link for the 4th time and see not a thing in it about the flood. You are angry with me. This I very much understand. I wish you wasn't but then again I will not be bullied--in any way, shape or form. I told you that my Faith is not blind. I have good reason for telling you this. Steve the science man has passed on a lie as I see it. It is his right to believe in the lie but nevertheless I have posted the truth in this matter. I have no reason to reckoncile with either of you personally. But I do have reason to tell the truth in the matter of the Bible. It is a matter of my Faith and it is indeed not blind. Both Steve and yourself have the right to disagree with me. Even if I could I would not take that right from you. I understand that science needs to be disagreed with for the truth of said matter to see the light of day. Musicman had a great point if science is all we are to talk about in this thread then science will always win the day. You all have had that "privilege" for a very long time now as I have come to understand. But the Bible and indeed Faith also have science and for you all to ignor that and mock it without even caring for the one who holds that view is going just a tad bit to far. I'll ask one more time because Im a Christian man and I believe in redemption with all my mind, heart, and soul. What does that 5 posts I talked about have to do with this thread? Please think carefully before the you all answer for the post that you placed here.
