Can't say I'm a fan of Wonderbread either...

I've been eating a lot of raisin bread lately.
Little hole-in-the-wall bakery opened last fall on Main Street, the Raisin' Dough bakery.
Can't walk by there without the smell of fresh-baked bread drawing me in.

Toasted raisin bread with butter or cream cheese with my breakfast sandwich.
A cup of coffee and kittens on the back patio - great way to start the day.

I prefer orange marmalade on my kittens.

Had an orange-marmalade colored kitten spending a lot of time on my patio during the winter, but haven't seen much of her since the weather got warm.

Critter update - The critters we are adopting are still in rehab. We will pick up our critter habitat tomorrow and our critters could be delivered on Wednesday or the following weekend..
We are getting excited and impatient....

Good luck with the "critters"

- - my randy raccoon - -

Incidentally, happened to come across with a randy fossil turtle affair, freshly reported: http://www.nature.com/news/sex-locked-in-stone-1.10850. But these particular offending deeds sure are statute-barred already.

And my dear rather bad tempered science teacher, I always thought raccoon dog, Nyctereutes procyonoides, is a species on its own right and not a hybrid. However, next time I see one I'll ask about his or her parents. ;-)

I saw some of those Supikoira in a zoo recently - along with a bunch of raccoons hanging out in a treehouse.

Yes, raccoons are feral in Germany, though I've not met one personally yet.

And kestrels

Not quite, Hummingbirds can hover without a headwind, Kestrels can not as the Wiki says...

Kestrels require a slight headwind in order to hover, hence a local name of Windhover for Common Kestrel.
