BOINC 7.0.25
I have a bunch of tasks with error code 1 - lots of run time - computational
error - no credit. The last one happened just as I came out of "snooze" -
maybe that's the problem.
I'll wait until the next version of BOINC is available before starting up
again. Any idea of when that will be?

Also, the computed run time remaining is really goofy. Estimated time = 10 hours.
After 5 hours of run time, remaining time = 10.5 hours.

Why not just upgrade to BOINC 7.0.28? That has that fixed.

That computing time is "goofy" is normal. BOINC 7.0 has a new CPU & GPU scheduler and work fetch module. It will have to re-learn how long things run. You just have to allow it to do so.

I'll wait until it's stable. That big red warning message doesn't look good.

OK. I disregarded the big red warning message and downloaded the beta test
version. So far...so good. The test will be reporting results. 7.0.25
seemed to have a problem if the work was interrupted - snooze or shutdown.
