Now it is official that any nation bordering with Pacific is eating Fukushima originated nuke seafood: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-18239107

Maybe some other kinds of hunting fish might sneak into Atlantics from Pacific too not sure.

Better avoid visiting those Pacifics or ASEAN countries...

Just amazed at the alarmist press. Do they mention a real threat to eating blue-fin tuna? Nope. No mention of mercury. But radiation at a super low level, shiver my timbers it was detectable, the sky is falling.

Yes because this time more than 500 million people in a harms way so there will be tons super brainwashing operations going on from japan, usa governments to wind down the multinational public awareness.

Since japan ship tuna meat all over the world actually tuna is unavoidable radiation hazard in most countries.

And tuna is so main diet in america perhaps some people who has some relation to tuna or seafood business will here deny everything that is for sure.

America eats blue-fin? Now yellow-tail yes, but blue-fin?

I see the alarmist press didn't say that eating 100 pounds of it is equivalent to a dental x-ray or some other useful comparison, just that it was detected. Don't you think before you go into hyperspace you might want to have facts?

Now it is little bit confusing that BBC tells radiation in tuna is 10 times higher but safe then CNN says only 3% higher:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SATZkPhC_Gs
Nowadays Cnn is pretty much a fortune teller with crystal ball.

Yes, which is why you won't be eating it in the USA.

It is now more likely that american and canadian politicians following japanese suit that making total media blackout on this issue.

It is very likely that all over america and canada all those testing capable institutions are pretending to be japanese. Just few sample digging reveal the true intention.

You would think there would be a total news blackout of the intelligence and cyberwarfare operations, but it all leaks. Nothing can be kept secret today, nothing.

If fukushima plutonium was french made then the american and canadian reaction would be a lot different but this uranium radiation is actually american originated so the wild ignorance and media blackouts are totally expected.

The only coverup here is by alarmists. They say levels above legal limits, then link to an article that has a correction notice that it was published in error that way. Yes, the coverup is by alarmists whose paycheck depends on the disaster being far bigger than reality.

Everyday in america CNN, NBC, ABC, FOX, CBS, PBS constantly brain wash 99% of the population that is why 1% there live above law and solely own 80% of national wealth. Which is the root of the Pacific radiation pollution.

In canada similar too CBC and other channels brain wash 99% so any blackouts become very effective.

From your previous post and your current post I see a very real anti US line you are taking. I cannot fathom why you'd choose to point fingers. All you need to do is look in your own backyard to see the corruption. How else could a KGB agent retain power in Russia. The old fashioned way. Rigging them.

Let's also not cast aspersions on the west or US. Your countries done some mighty fine screwing up when it comes to nuclear power. Not just in the public sector but in your military.

That aside I really don't see the point of whether the Uranium was US German Russian or Angolan. The nuclear reactor in Fukishim..Fuci.. Japan worked fine the design flaw was the diesel engines designed to pump water in emergencies were flooded. Had the engines been put on higher ground nothing close to what happened would have. It was a freaking earthquake and Tsunami that caused the reactor to crash and burn, Not stupidity.

It is nothing about anti-americanism crap. Anything small criticism directed you, you always say anti-americanism crap. Better you change your name then Holy Saint People States something so hopefully to avoid any criticism.

Any plutonium business is always strictly under us government watch and influence. Not far from fukushima there is big american military base. So this tepco messing up was not slipped that constant control. There is your "innocent state".

I am sure that 100% of any nuke fuel in japan is all us government provided, there is even military base there to watch over.

I'd say compare to hundreds of real anti american videos on youtube by south koreans my criticism is almost friendly smile.

I just shared some tuna with the kitties.
Turned the lights out just to check.

Yup....glowed in the dark.

Kitties liked it.

Good radioactive tuna.

Not stupidity.

Twas stupidity, but that is beside the point. You can only design for the foreseeable. You can't design for idiots.

The important part is to find out how the plant was doing from the time it started shaking there until the about half hour later when the first wave came. If everything was fine and dandy then we know we can design a plant to withstand a big honking earthquake. Very important to know this as it is very hard to arrange a full scale test.

As to the wave, that was stupidity. Historical records indicated larger than the design height wave. No excuse for that stupidity. We do know how to design against waves, so just make sure that the plant can withstand 50% bigger than historical or geologic events at the location and you have safety.

+1

I think he is delusional in the matter of US Government control of the press. He doesn't realize what a bunch of bumbling idiots are we have. They don't have any control and when they try it always blows up in their face. The US Government is unable to exert any control over the press. Proof is how often the embarrassing crap comes out. Heck even tricky Dick who hated the press couldn't get Watergate swept under the rug, and did he ever try. Pentagon papers got published. Heck just last week the NY Times blew open a story that has Congress calling for blood, damn near literally in treason charges.

The press is not the lap dog of the US Government. Unlike most everywhere else in the world where the press is the lap dog of the Government, hard to fathom for some.
