Getting really close to 1e+9 for WUIDs. I got a new task a little while ago and we're getting really close. It hasn't been created yet though.. (link for reference). Wonder who's going to get it, or how close any of us regular posters can get to it.

Preemptive congratulations to the staff and all the volunteers and donations that made this milestone possible!

I guess today will be the day. Will keep an eye out too.

As C_O said before: Congrats to staff and volunteers and everybody involved to reach this milestone.

Wondering how long it will take to reach to reach 2e+9. My guess is it won't take another 13 years :)

Greetings from the Netherlands

The time taken to reach each ×10^9 is an interesting metric of the project.

Interesting re terminology, however I am not sure everyone in the Europe would know "milliard". The US billion came over here in the 1970s & is now accepted as as a valid billion.

Imagine if we were in a UK-£1-trillion of debt...

Edit: or a trilliard.

IIRC the database had/has an issue with number over 2 billion. See 2 Billion Results for more details. So luckily we are only halfway there. Another 7 or 13 years until they have to update that section. 0.o

Would a thousand million pound prize for a snooker tournament be a billiard?
