	Getting really close to 1e+9 for WUIDs. I got a new task a little while ago and we're getting really close. It hasn't been created yet though.. (link for reference). Wonder who's going to get it, or how close any of us regular posters can get to it. 	I guess today will be the day. Will keep an eye out too. As C_O said before: Congrats to staff and volunteers and everybody involved to reach this milestone. 	Congratulations, and: If you use the word million, everybody will understand the same thing. (Hooray! :D) If you use the word milliard in the USA, basically nobody will have any idea whatsoever what you're talking about. The word isn't used in American English. But the Europeans would understand milliard to mean a number with 3 more zeroes than million. If you use the word billion, Americans will only understand that as a number with 3 more zeroes than million, whereas the Europeans might understand that as either a number with 3 more OR with 6 more zeroes than million. :lol: Worth thinking about when one talks about billion, or trillion: Long_and_short_scales ____________ /The grumpy old Swede. 	The time taken to reach each ×10^9 is an interesting metric of the project. Interesting re terminology, however I am not sure everyone in the Europe would know "milliard". The US billion came over here in the 1970s & is now accepted as as a valid billion. Imagine if we were in a UK-£1-trillion of debt... Edit: or a trilliard.

	IIRC the database had/has an issue with number over 2 billion. See 2 Billion Results for more details. So luckily we are only halfway there.
