And could you ever forgive him for This? I did.....I must. He was of my fatherland. And I am forever sorry for his actions. And das fatherland. Germany was a grand country once. Forever doomed by a dictator with his only means in mind. How could a total population be overtaken by such a dictator. Take heed, Obama lovers...... He is not far from overtaking such a coup. And mind you.....this is exactly what Obama is about. And I mean this sincerely. He is not far from it. We are one election away from it. One vote. They gave it to Hitler back then. Please do not give yours to Obama now. I wish I could tell you how close the similarity is. Very close. Those in the military might have a clue. And best be on the verge of a grand uprising right now. For this, I am forever doomed in time to surrender to his memory. And mock him any time I have the chance. I love the film Inglorius Basterds. And one day, I shall have my skalps. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

I am forever humbled by the rise to 'glory' of this infamous man. Somehow it happened. And Obama is not far from such a coup. OK, you flame me. Do it now, while you are still able to. Meowstifledsoon................. I am not kidding...... We, the people, have our last chance this coming election. If we lose, it well might be the last one we ever have. ---- "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

Freedom isn't free. They fought for it with their lives back at the birth of our nation and something tells me we are going to fight with/for our lives to keep it. Alot of sheeple too, who think Big Brother is really there to 'help' us. So many complacent people taking their freedom for granted, one day they are going to wake up with bars. So I say thanks to those who gave their lives for our freedom and I really hope America stays free. (though with that new email/text/skype spy station the fbi opened up is not closed down yet for its unconstitutionality makes me wonder what else they got in store for us little worker drones...) /rant |

when I was 6 years old we moved to a small town in Michigan called Hartland. We had no rail station, no major freeway, and the old US highway 23 didn't have an exit for the town. The best thing this town had to offer was its veterans. Many of its town folk had been in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. The one celebration Hartland had was Memorial Day. A day of remembrance and joy. Local Volunteer fire departments from across the county came for friendly games. The only City park became overrun with picnickers. A parade with all the school children, and a detachment from the local National Guard were always present. Ending the celebration was a wonderful fireworks display. I remember Mr. Donald Epley, one of the town elders and a WWII vet, being the Grand Marshall of the Parade. A kind and generous man if ever there was one. We were given a Civil war cannon demonstration with live ammunition near the Junior high school. As a child I was mesmerized but the shear noise of this one cannon. I couldn't fathom hundreds of these artillery pieces going off simultaneously. I learned to be thankful to people that I've never met who laid down their lives for me so that I can live as I do, where I do, and how I want. I was reminded of this again last night while watching Clint Eastwoods Flags of Our Fathers. Men accept ribbons for their deeds but rarely if ever want to be called Hero. The Heroes are the ones who paid the ultimate sacrifice for us. Let us remember them all tomorrow. In a rich man's house there is no place to spit but his face. Diogenes Of Sinope |

Mark I think one speech you missed was from the Charlie Chaplin. One which censor though unamerican and procommunist. A proclamation for peace... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WibmcsEGLKo&feature=fvwrel In a rich man's house there is no place to spit but his face. Diogenes Of Sinope |

And could you ever forgive him for This? If I have read this rambling post correctly, Mark's idea of what Memorial Day is all about is... 1)Forgiving Hitler 2)Warning others that Obama is following Hitler's gameplan 3)Hoping for a military coup 4)Promising to collect scalps one day. Anything else we can celebrate the day with? I do not fight fascists because I think I can win. I fight them because they are fascists.
