I'm needing to allocate my CPU time for other stuff at the moment but I have 5ish larger(?) jobs (about 100credits worth a piece) that have been completed but need validation. Do I have to be either 1)connected to the internet (uploading?) or 2)running SETI@home (as opposed to having it suspended but still open) to complete validation.

I know it's a drop in the gigantic SETI bucket but I'd still like for them to have those calculations. Thanks so much!

If the work is complete and no longer on your machine you are fine. Work that is already sent back does not need you to stay online for it to validate.

gotcha. ok, just for clarity's sake when it says "completed, waiting for validation"..that's all on their end, right? btw, i saw what your team is doing decided I'd like to be a part of that. Thanks again.
