OK, guys and gals, I don't have green fingers, so I'm not going to do much in this thread apart from start it then sit back and admire the work of those that are blessed with the aforementioned digital deformation

Oh Nooooooo, frost tonight!

But that's a "HOT" frost, Celt; I thought all frosts were usually cold?

I hope the frost doesn't get to Uli's cherries, their due for harvesting
in two weeks time. Chef can't wait to get his hands on them, he's going to
make some cherry & yogurt smoothies.

The frost did not happen, now the apple blossoms are starting to show up.

Ignore the date. I took this pic of "Tree Tomatoes" yesterday. Looks like a nice crop, even if they could be sweeter.

Yes I grew some yellows two years ago. They are a great match with some cucumbers.

Its about 6 to 8 weeks before the English cherry picking season gets under-way.
Its about the only "planting" I do, but a little undignified according to some.
Get a bag/box/punnet of ripe cherries. Sit on a fence, wall, even the cab of a train, eat the cherries one at a time and spit the seeds into the undergrowth. If several folks join in this can become a bit of a competitive sport (how far, how many at once...)
Once the container is empty declare "Job done".
I'm pleased to say that at least one of my "planting expeditions" has matured enough to at least have blossom - I've seen the photos of a little cherry "orchard" growing in the midst of a wild hedge!

As soon as the rain stops the lawn will have grown like a rain forest, but all that water has saved the tomatoes.
